The national civil aviation began to implement the 2021/2022 winter and spring flight plan, with more than 8,000 cargo flights per week.

A few days ago, the Civil Aviation Administration issued a notice that from October 31, 2021 to March 26, 2022, China Civil Aviation will implement the Air Cargo Logistics 2021/2022 winter and spring flight plan.

According to statistics, in the winter and spring seasons of this year, a total of nearly 200 domestic and foreign airlines have planned 101,658 passenger and cargo flights per week. For domestic (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) routes, all airlines plan to arrange domestic passenger and cargo flights every week. 93017 flights, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year in the winter and spring season of 2020/2021. Among them, 90,781 passenger flights per week, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%;

Air Cargo Logistics

 

There are 2,236 cargo flights per week, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. 22 airlines including Air China plan to arrange a total of 704 flights a week on 51 new domestic routes, mainly involving Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha, Lijiang, Diqing, Harbin, Jinan, Wuyishan, Shenyang, Guyuan, Zhangjiakou, etc. Air routes between airports.  

In terms of flights between Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, airlines plan to arrange 2,469 passenger and cargo flights per week on Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan routes, a decrease of 17.9% year-on-year in the winter and spring season of 2020/2021. Among them, 15 mainland airlines plan to arrange 683 passenger and cargo flights a week; 12 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan airlines plan to arrange 1,786 passenger and cargo flights a week.  

In terms of international flights, domestic and foreign airlines plan to arrange 6,172 international passenger and cargo flights per week, a year-on-year increase of 21.3% in the winter and spring season of 2020/2021. There were 408 passenger flights per week, a year-on-year decrease of 21.1%; cargo (including passenger-to-cargo) flights were 5764 flights a week, an increase of 28.1% year-on-year. Among them, 19 domestic airlines plan to arrange 228 passenger flights every week, serving 39 cities in 34 countries; 61 foreign airlines plan to arrange 180 passenger flights every week, serving 56 cities in 47 countries.

Air Cargo Logistics

19 domestic airlines plan to arrange 3158 cargo flights per week (2078 all-cargo flights, 1080 passenger-to-cargo flights), and serve 55 cities in 30 countries; 65 foreign airlines plan to arrange 2606 cargo flights per week (all cargo flights) Cargo classes 1394 and passenger-to-cargo classes 1212), serving 82 cities in 42 countries.  

It is understood that the flight schedule of this season presents some new features compared with previous years and the summer and autumn seasons of this year. Domestic Air freight services routes have adopted the newly issued "China Civil Aviation Domestic Routes Flight Review Rules", which cancels the total number of flights for approved segments, further reduces market entry barriers, supports airlines to adjust capacity flexibly, effectively matches market demand, and promotes Establish an air transportation service network of "mainstream-support, full-network connection" to further enhance the accessibility and convenience of civil aviation. International flight seasons continue to strictly implement the requirements of epidemic prevention and control and transportation guarantee. The number of passenger flights has remained at 2.2% of the pre-epidemic period. The freight route network has been optimized and the operation of "passenger-to-cargo" flights is encouraged.
