Documents with air shipment refer to the documents required for abroad customs clearance or other purposes when a batch of goods is exported from China by air freight, which shall be sent on the same air freight with the goods. Generally including packing lists, invoices or certificates of origin, certificates of quality, health certificates, etc. These documents are generally sent with goods by request of foreign customers. Its main uses are:

document

1 Customs clearance at the destination port

For example, packing lists, invoices, certificates of origin, etc. are all used for customs clearance at the destination port for air freight from China. The certificates of origin, especially preferential certificates of origin, are mainly be utilized to apply for tariff reduction or preferential treatment.

The documents with air shipment required by the customers are to be utilized by the customers during customs clearance for air freight from China; while the documents with air shipment required by the destination port agency (DDU, DDP clauses, etc.) are to be utilized by the destination port agency during customs clearance for air freight from China.

Packing lists and invoices with air shipment are required by some countries or destination ports by their regulations, such as many ports in South America. Absence of such packing lists and invoice with air shipment may result in troubles for customs clearance at the destination port.

2 Facilitate airport cargo stations in goods distributing

For example, house air waybills, house manifests, etc. As goods are consolidated at the departure port before air freight from China, they must be separated into different batches, different bills and different consignees according to the house air waybills/ house manifest when arriving the destination port, which is followed by notification to each consignee separately, or processed customs clearance, picked up, and delivered separately.

3 Avoid of delaying the customers in customs clearance

Airfreight is usually fast, especially for direct flight, which trends to the situation of "goods waiting for documents" if the customs clearance documents are mailed by international express,-- the goods by air freight have arrived, but customs clearance documents (invoices, case lists, certificates of origin, health certificates, etc.) haven't, thus delaying customer customs clearance.

4 Explanation of documents with air shipment

Documents with air shipment are specially designed for air freight from China, but not for sea transportation. There are neither such documents with air shipment for sea shipment nor documents with sea shipment exist. -- documents are not sent with the ship. Documents for sea transportation can only be sent by international express even bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and other documents that required by abroad.

air shipment

What is documents? It refers to the documents that correspond to a particular batch of air freight, required by abroad consignees or other relative parties, and to be sent abroad along with the air freight from China.

In other words, when a batch of goods is exported by air freight from China, the documents required for abroad customs clearance or other purposes, and to be sent on the same plane with the goods are the documents with air shipment.

The documents with air shipment mentioned in international air transportation are not random files, (documents differ from Sequential File) but documents with air shipment that fly along with the plane.
